Hi everyone, I’ve got another EcoTools review for you!
Today I’m talking about the EcoTools Bamboo Loofah Bath Brush. Let’s jump right in.
When you first buy the brush, it throws you off because it’s completely flat. But this is actually one of the cooler things about it. The natural sponge expands on contact with water and you get the typical loofah shape; but it starts off super flat for eco-friendly shipping. The bigger the product, the more packaging it uses up. By using a compressed sponge, EcoTools can stack far more brushes together in one box than would have been possible with an expanded sponge, reducing the amount of packaging material needed.
As for exfoliation, you DEFINITELY get that with this brush! It provides a hard scrub without being too abrasive, and it left my back feeling squeaky clean. The bamboo handle provides a comfortable grip and the finish on the wood is nice and smooth. The only thing you need to be careful with is the temperature of the water. I rinsed the brush in water that was way hotter than I would ever shower in and the glue started to melt off. Luckily it was durable enough that it didn’t fall off by the time I realized, but do keep in mind that the natural glue cannot withstand very hot temperatures. Otherwise, it’s a winner. So far with EcoTools I’m 2 for 2!
